What is FotoSort?
FotoSort is a smart photo-sorting tool that automatically groups motorcycle trackday and racing photos by rider.
It’s designed to save photographers time and make it easier for riders to find their shots - and it’s completely free to use.
How does FotoSort work?
1. Select
Select up to 5,000 unsorted photos for grouping.
FotoSort works with all motorcycle types, including sport bikes, naked bikes, supermotos, and dirt bikes.
2. Process
Our proprietary, custom-trained algorithms detect each of the relevant, in-focus riders within each photo, and automatically groups them based on visual characteristics such as motorcycle type, color, and rider apparel, regardless of viewing perspective (eg: front/back/side).
3. Review
Use our advanced UI to quickly refine automatic groupings with drag-and-drop functionality, and easily assign a name to each group.
4. Apply
Generate a script that copies your original photos to their designated folders with the click of a button.

How much does FotoSort cost?
Nothing at all - FotoSort is completely free to use. There are no fees or subscriptions.
What are the system requirements?
FotoSort works on nearly every Windows, macOS, and Linux device, and does not require the installation of any software.
We recommend using a modern browser (ex: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc) and a 2+ Mb/s internet connection for every 1,000 photos processed at a time.
Is FotoSort secure?
Yes. All photos are encrypted and authentication is required to access them.
We will never share or distribute your photos.
Access to your account is protected using industry-standard authentication and encryption methods. Your login is securely handled by a trusted identity provider, and your session is protected using secure tokens. All communication with our servers is encrypted using HTTPS.
We follow best practices in cloud security to ensure your photos remain private and protected at all times.
How many photos can I sort at a time?
FotoSort can sort up to 5,000 photos at a time.
FotoSort performs best when there are photos of each rider across a wide range of perspectives.
How long does processing take?
Processing typically takes around 15 minutes for every 1,000 photos in a session.
Do I need to keep FotoSort open during processing?
No. After creating a session, processing is done on our secure servers. You may close FotoSort and return at a later time.
Can I create new sessions while older sessions are still processing?
Yes. New sessions can be created at any time, even when older sessions are still processing.
Multiple sessions can also be created at the same time (in parallel) across multiple browser windows or devices.
